- Create a flyer that includes:
- Title of community (a unifying theme)
- Logistics: names of courses, instructors, section numbers, days, times, rooms
- Reasons for signing up for your LC:
- Quotes from past students?
- Quotes from instructors?
- Success data?
- Remember...the more you write, the less they read: "Brevity is Best."
- A graphic? ( Repro is a great resource)
- Distribute flyers to:
- Counseling (especially for student orientation sessions!)
- EOPS
- Admissions & Records Office
- Financial Aid office
- GE lobby counter
- The Writing Center
- other faculty
- students in feeder classes that you personally visit
- Outreach
- Local community centers, senior centers, & libraries
- Insert an Ad into the Schedule of Classes, school newspaper, & Open Line (Joel Lugo)
