The SJCC Scholarship Program includes scholarships sponsored by community organizations, businesses, campus organizations, and district/college faculty and staff. Specific requirements vary according to criteria set by each donor as well as the SJCC Scholarship Committee. The following criteria are generally given the most consideration:
- Academic Achievement – Grade Point Average
- Community Service
- Demonstrated talents and abilities
- Leadership Ability/Skills
- Educational & Vocational Objectives
- Commitment to education and community
- Financial Need (may be a factor, but seldom an exclusive factor)
- Quality of application (complete, neat, well written, etc.)

3. Enter your email address and create a password to start the application process
4. Follow the instructions to submit the general application
Each scholarship opportunity may have additional requirements. Follow the instructions for each and complete the stated requirements.

Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan
The Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan is a financial aid program intended to expand access to the University of California for lower-income students.
UC's Blue and Gold Opportunity Plan will ensure that you will not have to pay UC's system-wide tuition and fees out of your own pocket if you are a California resident whose total family income is less than $80,000 per year and you qualify for financial aid - and that's just for starters.
Blue and Gold students with sufficient financial need can qualify for even more grant aid to help reduce the cost of attending. More information for Blue and Gold Students!!
YES Scholarship:
Youth Education Scholarship from the Silicon Valley Children's Fund. Open to current and former Foster Youth from Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
Application deadline: March 31, 2018.

AAUW San Jose Scholarship
The American Association of University Women, San Jose (AAUW) advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research. 2018 scholarship money is available with awards ranging from $1,500 to $5,000.

Jim McEntee Legacy Scholarship
Seventeen (17) $2,000 scholarships will be offered to Santa Clara County community college students transferring to a 4-year university with junior-year status or to previous scholarship recipients.
Applications must be received by April 30, 2018
