Honors Program
In order to qualify for the Honors Program, a student must meet the following
requirements:
Continuing Student
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and
Be eligible for English 1A
New Student
Placed at the English 1A level on the English Placement Test or
Were in Advanced Placement (AP) Classes in High School
The Honors Program offers:
A challenging curriculum designed specifically for the Honor student
The option of working with a distinguished Faculty member in developing a challenging
Honors Contract for a transferable level course.
Individualized counseling and academic planning
Designated Honors status on their academic transcript
