The mission of the Kinesiology and Wellness Department is to promote the goal of health and total wellbeing to students through the dissemination of knowledge primarily related to physical fitness, and its enabling individuals for lifetime activities and wellness. Students will achieve and maintain a health enhancing level of physical fitness through strategic goal planning.
The department provides theory courses for educators and for the general community. A Kinesiology AA-T degree is offered for students to reach their educational goals.
