How to Use Moodle

Logging In

  • Moodle Quick-Start Guide — Follow these instructions to get started.
  • If you cannot log in to Moodle:
    1. First, check MyWeb to make sure you are officially registered for the class.
    2. If you are registered, contact the SJECCD Help Desk for assistance:

After You Log In

  • If you aren't sure what you are supposed to do in Moodle, contact your instructor.

Technical Problems?

  • If you need technical assistance, contact the Help Desk.
  • If you forget your password:
    1. Click on the login help button on the Moodle Login Page.
    2. Enter your email address.
      (You will receive two emails from the SJECCD Moodle server: the first is a warning that your password will be reset; the second contains your new pasword.)
    3. If you do not receive the new password, Moodle probably does not have your correct email address. Go to MyWeb to correct your email address. The address change in MyWeb will be transferred to Moodle.
      If you still cannot log in, contact the Help Desk.
