Patrons can view their currently checked out items and library fees by clicking on My Account through the library’s online catalog.

Databases

The Library subscribes  to databases on various subjects. Within these  databases you can find full-text articles from magazines, journals and  newspapers. Off-campus users must enter their name and college ID for access. Please  contact the reference desk for technical issues in connecting to the databases. Help and Tutorials are available to help you search the databases.

Online Research Guides

There are a variety of  Online Research Guides available that can guide you in your research.  These  guides cover specific subject areas, offer valuable information for using  library resources, and include handouts that have been prepared for library  orientations.

You  will be guided to a variety of  Internet Tools that can help you find  the Best Websites sites that have been that  have been evaluated for authenticity, accuracy and authority, and recommended  for academic research. Citation  Help

Guidelines for bibliographic citations using either MLA or APA  style are available online, plus a selection of automatic citation generators.

Library Studies (online course)

The Library offers a three-unit online courseLibrary Studies15 – Electronic Research and the Internet which teaches students  the basics of Internet research and how to use databases.
