Citation Makers

  • Citation Makers save time by formulating citations for use in a Works Cited list.
  • Citations are created by either manual entry into a template or automatically through various methods.
  • Citation accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
  • Consultation of the following sources is recommended to confirm that citations are formatted correctly:
    1. SJCC Library online handouts
    2. MLA Handbook, Ref LB 2369 .G53 2009
    3. Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL) website

Most of SJCC Library databases include citations of full-text periodical articles, however, it is also recommended to double-check these citations.

The Citation Makers listed below have been tested by the SJCC librarians, and although none has produced perfect results, they performed satisfactorily in most cases.
