*Academic Search Premier provides full-text articles for more than 4,600 journals, including 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. PDF back files to 1975 or further are available for over one hundred journals, and cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.

*African American Experience This full-text database covers a multitude of topics related to the African American experience. It includes primary documents, essays, timelines, and images. Articles can be downloaded and emailed; citations are provided.

*America: History and Life America: History & Life with Full Text covers the history and culture of the United States and Canada, from prehistory to the present. With selective indexing for 1,700 journals from 1955 to present, this database is an important bibliographic reference tool for students and scholars of U.S. and Canadian history. America: History & Life with Full Text also provides full-text coverage of more than 200 journals and nearly 100 books.

Auto Repair Reference Center This useful database contains repair and maintenance information for many domestic and imported vehicles. Repair procedures, TSBs and updates are added on a regular basis. All of the content in ARRC has been created by ASE certified technicians.

*Biography in Context This outstanding resource contains nearly a million biographical entries spanning history and geography. It includes: 600,000 biographies covering more than 525,000 individuals; 50,000 new or updated bios added annually in addition to daily updates covering awards and events.


BIR Entertainment BIR Entertainment provides information on approximately 450,000 music titles and 200,000 DVD/video titles, with more being added regularly. With BIR, you can find music or videos featuring a favorite artist or performer, or a specific genre. Book Index with Reviews
Book Index with Reviews™ (BIR) is a comprehensive database that provides information on over 5 million book titles, in a wide range of formats. BIR also contains almost 800,000 full-text searchable book reviews from the sources such as: Library Journal, School Library Journal, Publishers Weekly, Booklist and others.

*Business Source Elite This business database provides full-text articles for over 1,000 business publications, including information dating back to 1985. More than 10,100 substantial company profiles from Datamonitor are also included. This database is updated on a daily basis.       

Consumer Health Complete (advanced search screen) This is a comprehensive resource for consumer-oriented health topics. Designed to support patients' information needs, it covers many areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated medicine. In addition, it includes the Clinical Reference System and the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which provides access to up-to-date, concise and clinically relevant drug monographs. The database is updated on a weekly basis.

*CountryWatch is a useful resource for any public or private sector organization with overseas operations and global interests. Includes the Country Reviews™, an up-to-date series of publications for each country including demographic, political, economic, business, cultural, and environmental information; the Country Wire™, which provides daily news coverage for every country in the world and a significant news archive made up of the compendium of regional news carriers; and the CountryWatch Forecast™, a five-year macroeconomic forecast for each country.

ERIC ERIC, the Education Resource Information Center, provides access to education literature and resources; it contains more than 1.3 million records and links to more than 323,000 full-text documents dating back to 1966.

European Views of the Americas: 1493 to 1750 This database is a valuable index for libraries, scholars and individuals interested in European works that relate to the Americas. It contains more than 32,000 entries and is a comprehensive guide to printed records about the Americas written in Europe before 1750 based on holdings of the John Carter Brown Library.

*Gale Virtual Reference Library Excellent for research on many subjects, Gale Virtual Reference Library provides resources on social issues, literature, medicine, health, science, and the environment from specialized reference sources and single-topic books.

*Global Issues in Context Find a wealth of resources here on global issues, conflicts, and events. A wide variety of subject areas are included, such as sociology, current events, civics, politics, science, economics, cultural/religious issues, women’s studies, human rights, and much more.

*GREENR (Global Reference on the Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources) GREENR is an online resource that offers authoritative content on the development of emerging green technologies and discusses issues on the environment, sustainability and more. GREENR is interactive and current, allowing users to navigate issue, organization, and country portals.

GreenFile GreenFILE offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records.     

*Health Source –Consumer Edition This database is the richest collection of consumer health information available to libraries worldwide, providing information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine, and general health. Health Source: Consumer Edition provides access to nearly 80 full-text, consumer health magazines.

Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition This database provides nearly 550 scholarly full-text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. It also features the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide,which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.

MAS Ultra Designed specifically for high school libraries, this database contains full text for nearly 500 popular magazines. MAS Ultra – School Edition also provides more than 360 full-text reference books, 85,670 biographies, over 107,000 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of over 510,000 photos, maps & flags, color PDFs and expanded back files (to 1975) for key magazines. MEDLINE MEDLINE provides authoritative information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.

Medline Plus Medline Plus is a website produced by the National Library of Medicine that provides reliable, up-to-date health information about diseases, conditions, and wellness issues in non-technical language. It includes articles about medical treatments, information on drugs and supplements, clinical trials and current research, definition of medical terms, instructional videos, illustrations, and much more.

Military & Government Collection Designed to offer current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government, this database provides cover-to-cover full text for nearly 300 journals and periodicals and indexing and abstracts for more than400 titles.

*Newspaper Source Plus Newspaper Source Plus includes more than 860 full-text newspapers, providing more than 35 million full-text articles. In addition, the database features more than 857,000 television and radio news transcripts.
*Opposing Viewpoints in Context This database features: viewpoint articles, topic overviews, full-text magazines, academic journals, news articles, primary source documents, statistics, images, videos, audio files and links to vetted websites.
