Four competitive advantages make AMT one of the nation's leading high tech sector manufacturing technician training programs:

Electronics 81: This is a non-prerequisite, survey course of the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Students are introduced to the culture, values and ownership that exists in this highly competitive industry through team learning in our simulation clean room.  Students also spend significant time in our virtual reality software performing simulations designed to replicate factory and tool-set excursions.  This course combines the form SMT 80 and 81 courses.

Electronics  82: Semiconductor Manufacturing Tool Sets presents an in-depth "hands on" study of equipment used across the semiconductor manufacturing industry. A detailed study of tool operations, periodic, preventative and predictive maintenance along with troubleshooting and maintenance management skills are explored in "industry styled" teams.

This program is offered conjointly with Mission College in Santa Clara. Students can take courses at either courses, with at least one course in the program offered exclusively at each college.
