Position Title : Personal Assistant/Office Admin/Basic Software Product Tester Hours per Week : 20 Duties : A. Product testing:

Driving product Q/A (Quality Assurance i.e. testing) and a structured testing process by iterating with our remote testing team in Eastern Europe. The candidate is responsible for defining the testing spec and the testing process and owning the bugs until they have been routed to the right engineer responsible and making sure it's fixed. There will also be other testing that will be done in-house by the candidate as requested by our engineers.

Skills needed:

Getting extremely familiar with our product, installing browser add-ons, browsers, finding and reporting bugs using clear and concise language. Good at communicating testing processes to our remote testers, communicating bugs to our engineering and design team etc. Familiarity with Windows, Mac, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari a must and being able to install extensions on these browsers. You don't need to be a Software engineer but you should be extremely comfortable with technology in general and with using a computer, the internet and popular productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google docs and spreadsheets etc).

B. Generating reports:

Generate reports from dashboards for the management team. This could include summaries like week on week change in revenue, signups, results of A/B tests etc.

Skills needed:

Familiarity with Excel, Google Spreadsheets, doing simple charts etc. Basic arithmetic, statistics and being detail oriented and timely given the importance of some of these reports.

C. Working & Negotiating with Vendors:

Setting up and paying for amenities for the office like water, supplies (food, snacks, drinks), furniture, signing up for new software, buying computers, accessories and other office supplies etc. Negotiating on lower prices/terms in all cases.

Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills

D. HR & working with service providers:

. Working with our payroll and benefits providers for various administrative and set up tasks. Minimizing time spent by the founders were possible with related paperwork, administrative chores, talking to them for minor matters, issues etc.

. Specifying clearly (after talking to us) and putting out tasks on free lancing websites. Operating our accounts on those freelancing sites and paying our contractors on time. You will have to set up the right events on your calendar so they get paid on time.

Skills needed:

Excellent communication and admin skills.

E. Admin:

. Saving time for the founders were possible with making copies, scans, taking care of mail, mundane bills, other office chores, ordering company t-shirts etc.

. When new employees arrive, helping them get set up with bank accounts, phones, researching apartments, showing them apartments, negotiating rents, car, shopping etc (essentially helping them "settle in" in the US given many of them join the company from overseas).

. Working with our immigration attorney and our general counsel on non-sensitive paperwork, administrative duties.

. Arranging company parties and off site fun outings. You will be responsible for end-to-end planning and organization of these events and will have the freedom to hire additional help as needed. You will be provided with a corporate card/funds beforehand for these.

. Pickups from airport for key employees, driving them to work in certain cases of contingency

. In summary, taking on any task that can save the founders time.

Skills needed:

Excellent communication and admin skills. High level of attention to detail since some of the admin duties (specifically those relating to legal and immigration) might be time sensitive.

Excellent people skills to get along and welcome our new employees when they join us.

F. Personal Assistant to the Founders:

. Domestic chores to help the founders save time

. Personal errands for shopping, getting food, coffee, and paying bills etc.

. Tasks not limited to the list above and basically any tasks that can help save the founders time

. Some of these tasks might be on the weekend also

Skills needed:

Hard working, dependable, and good people skills.

G. PR & Community Management:

. Being able to respond promptly to complaints or issues in message boards, blogs, Facebook, Twitter etc. to diffuse the situation or answer questions. For e.g. a user needs help with canceling her account and uninstalling the addon and you would be providing instructions.

. Managing our social media presence on Facebook, Twitter etc.

. Availability needed for certain time sensitive responses that may need to be given to our hosting providers. E.g. our hosting provider might want a response to a question within 4h or 12h (occasionally) and you need to be available to respond in time regardless of whether it's a weekend or a holiday. Typically these instances are rare and can be responded to remotely as long as are online.

H. Bonus/Nice to Have Skills:

Being able to monitor and identify action items from metrics in our product, growth and monetization dashboards to suggest areas of improvement. E.g. finding that the product has a significantly lower install rate for IE on Windows and commissioning a test to determine the cause.

Additional Info. : We are looking to start off candidates with 4 hours a day (roughly 2pm to 6pm) plus any additional work you do remotely, which should average to at least 20 hours a week.
