Qualifications / Skills : Have the ability to work with program files in multiple formats, 2-D and 3-D formats.
Ability to handle multiple R&D, as well as short run production, projects with tolerance of 0.001".
Knowledge of Fanuc controls and be familiar with Haas and Fadal CNC machines.
Experience setting up and operating CNC mills Able to help others with setup as a team player Understand basic programming ("G" codes).
Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, speeds and feeds Knowledge cutting aluminum, steel, stainless and plastics (delrin, acrylic, peek, etc.) Must be able to follow written and oral instructions Must be able to communicate in English, verbal and written Read and interpret assembly drawings and blue prints Strong math background Complies with established safety directives Ability to setup and operate equipment with limited or no supervision.
Knowledge of Mastercam and programming a plus.
Lathe experience a plus.
