The marketing profession can fulfill these dreams through its many career options and, as in most occupations today, the better marketing positions are offered to those with superior skills. This requires specialized education and experience. Marketing-related occupations account for 25-33% of the nation's jobs and history has shown that the demand for effective marketers is not affected by cyclical economic fluctuations.

For Your Information
Low Cost
Students registering for less than six units will be charged $6 per unit plus a $7.50 health fee. Students registering for 10 or more units will be charged $60 per semester. Enrollment fees are due at registration. Financial Aid is available.
Eligibility for Admission
To be eligible for admission, the applicant shall be a high school graduate or equivalent, be 18 years of age or older, or a high school student with a concurrent enrollment form filed with Admissions and Records.
Matriculation and Placement Tests
Matriculation, a method of providing first-time college students with information necessary for success, requires new students to be assessed, oriented, and provided with academic advisement prior to registering for classes. Assessment scores are advisory only.

ADVISORY BOARD
San Jos é City College is proud of its Marketing Advisory Board. Composed of representatives of the business community, the committee assists in identifying curriculum needs, determining course priorities and monitoring the quality of instruction. It is our goal to graduate students with "Marketable" skills.
