Web Folders |
| Need a place on the internet to store
information? This basic yet simple option lets you store any file on the
internet. Anyone can download content placed there, without a password.
Files are either displayed automatically in a simple list, or in a web
page you create. Email SJCC Webmaster
to have your web folder setup. If your needs are more comprehensive or you
want to restrict content to students enrolled in your class, see WEB below. |

WEB |
| Need a robust web presence for your onsite class? Sign up for a WebCT course environment.
Check out the WebCT
Central Course Request Form. Once a WebCT course has been created
(24-72 hours) you will then be able to upload your syllabus, assignments, and quizzes. You will be able to use the communication tools to have discussions with your students, schedule chat time, or send an email to all of your students at the same time. Your students will be able to see the assignments, syllabus, and due dates at their convenience. No more, "My dog ate my homework" or "You didn't say it was due today!". The only thing your students need is an Internet connection, and thanks to the many computer labs here on campus, they ALL have one!
Workshops are offered on Web-Enhanced Education using WebCT this spring and summer. See schedule for details. |
