Don Stagnaro is entering his 12th year as the Head Golf Coachand is also the school's athletic director.  The Jaguars have gone to the Nor-Cal Tournament 8 of the last 11 years, and the State Tournament 4 times.  This past year, the Jaguars won the Nor-Cal Tourney.  In head to head competition the Jaguars have a record of 335-180 over the past 11 years. 

 

Don Stagnaro has coached at the high school and community college level for 40 years.  Coach Stagnaro graduated from University of the Pacific with a bachelor of arts in physical education, while also participating in football and baseball. From there the coach earned a master's degree in physical education, recreation, and administration from St. Mary's College.  The coach started his teaching and coaching at Franklin High School in Stockton for 2 years, then moved to Camden High School in San Jose for 2 years.  From there he moved to Westmont High School in Campbell for 15 years, then accepted a position at San Jose City College in 1986. He is married to wife Kathy, and 2 children, Jana and Nicholas, and two grand children Ben and Maggie.
