During Robb's tenure at City College, 91 Jaguars have transferred on to the next level, 75 of those players receiving scholarships, 10 signing professional contracts. Coach Robb began his coaching career in 1983 at the College of San Mateo under the tutelage of Hall of Fame Coach (ABCA/CCCBCA) John Noce. In 1987 Coach Robb earned his teaching credential and begun teaching Physical Education in Los Gatos, CA. After school hours, Robb was an assistant at De Anza College under Ritchie Price (Head Baseball Coach / University of Kansas) for two years, then later at West Valley College for another two years. In 1994, Robb earned his Master degree from Saint Mary's College of California. After the 1996 season, former SJCC Athletic Director Bert Bonanno made Robb the full-time Head Baseball Coach at City.
