About Blackboard at SJCC
- As of June 1, 2010, SJCC is no longer using Blackboard. You will have access to the Blackboard server through July, 2010.
- The SJCC Blackboard installation is Blackboard CE (Campus Edition) 8, which is very similar to Blackboard Vista.. Blackboard CE/Vista is based on the WebCT learning management system, which the Blackboard company acquired and modified. It is not the same as Blackboard 8. Thus, you cannot import quizzes or publisher e-packs in Blackboard format to the SJCC system. You will need to explain this to your textbook publisher representatives.
