About Blackboard at SJCC

  • SJCC currently uses Blackboard CE (Campus Edition) 8.
  • Blackboard CE is based on the WebCT learning management system, which the Blackboard company acquired and modified. It is not the same as Blackboard 8. Thus, you cannot import quizzes or publisher e-packs in Blackboard format to the SJCC system. You will need to explain this to your textbook publisher representatives.
