Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) helps determine eligibility for:

In order to receive aid from year to year, the FAFSA must be renewed annually.

To apply for aid for the 2012-2013 Academic Year, you will need the following:

Cal Grant
The Cal Grant GPA Verification Form is available on-line. Forms must be submitted to the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) by March 2, 2012 for the 2012-2013 Academic Year and March 2, 2013 for the 2013-2014 Academic Year.

NOTE: Students who have completed more than 16 transferable units at SJCC are not required to complete the form. SJCC will send the information to CSAC electronically.

Financial Aid Workshops
The Financial Aid Office hosts various workshops to help with applications and other financial aid matters. FAFSA workshops are generally held on Fridays from 10am to 11:30am in the Career/Transfer Center located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center (room SC 216). Times and locations of other workshops vary.
