Hallmark Awards honor individual, chapter and region accomplishments in the disciplines of the Society's four Hallmarks: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. The Beta Epsilon Nu Chapter at San Jose City College participated in 2005.

The Five Star Chapter Development Program was designed to provide every chapter a step-by-step guide to optimizing the benefits and programs offered by Phi Theta Kappa. Our chapter last achieved the 3 Star level. Our chapter has established an enhanced membership program based on the Phi Theta Kappa model for active students. Members are eligible to participate after induction.
The Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program is a membership enhancement program that rewards both chapters and regions with scholarship stipends, in recognition of their success in recruitment of new members. Beta Epsilon Nu won a Pinnacle Continued Excellence Award in 2005.
