International Advising San José City College offers a two-year lower division college program paralleling the first two years of four-year colleges and universities. For students who plan to pursue a baccalaureate degree, the college provides a strong core of general education and other courses required for transfer. The college also offers a variety of one- and two-year technical, occupational and pre-professional courses of study, leading to employment. All international students are eligible for the college's international student services. International Program staff assist students with scheduling of classes and with academic, personal and occupational counseling.
