Puente students are provided with a structured mentoring program, where they are matched with community professionals. Puente mentors are trained volunteers, who act as role models, and share with students their academic, career, and personal experiences. Student/Mentor events are held every semester to give students and mentors the opportunity to establish and strengthen their mentoring relationships.
