Applying to a California State University (CSU) Campus
When should I apply?
You are urged to apply during the priority filing period. Applications
are available in Transfer Center or you may apply online .
Although some campuses and majors remain open after the priority filing period,
applications to impacted programs/campuses must be filed during the initial
filing period (first month of the filing period). The application fee is $55
for each campus you select. Application fees may be waived for certain students.
See your counselor for details.

* Most CSU campuses are on the semester system, but some such as CSU Hayward
and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, follow the quarter system.
If I missed the Application Filing Period, can I still apply?
Maybe. Application for impacted programs/campuses must be filed during
the initial filing period. San Diego State University and Cal Poly San Luis
Obispo only accept applications during the priority filing periods.
However, other campuses continue to accept applications after the filing period.

Status Report to find out what schools and majors are still accepting applications.
How can I get help filling out my CSU application?
You can make an appointment with your counselor, come to the Transfer Center
to talk to our CSU Representative or attend a CSU
Application Workshop .
Applying to a University of California
(UC) Campus
When do I apply?
You are urged to apply as early as possible. Applications are available
in the Transfer Center or you may apply online .
The application fee is $40 for each campus you select. Application fees may
be waived for certain students. See your counselor for details.

Most UC campuses do not accept applications after the filing period.
If you apply after the filing period, check with the campus or online
to see if there are openings for submitting your application.

Applying to a Private or Out-of-State
College
Each university’s application filing periods will vary. You are urged to apply
during the priority filing period and respond to all requests for additional
information (official transcripts, test scores, etc.) by the dates requested.
To obtain an application, contact the four-year college directly. Some campuses
have their applications available online.
