The SJCC Metas Program was established through a U.S. Department of Education Title V grant and is open to all San Jose City College students. The Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Program (referred to as Title V: HSI) assists eligible Hispanic-serving institutions of higher education to expand their capacity to serve Hispanic and low-income students.
La Raza Commencement 2015
On behalf of the Latino Education Association (L.E.A.), we invite you to La Raza Commencement 2015 scheduled for Saturday, May 16th, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at San Jose City College in the Main Gym.
The Latino Education Association (L.E.A.) annually hosts a specialized commencement to honor the achievements of students transferring, completing their certificate, or attaining their associate degree. In addition to our campus graduation ceremony, La Raza Commencement is a familial occasion for all students and their families and friends to share this joyous event in a bilingual/bicultural ceremony. This special occasion includes an evening dinner, a keynote speaker, accomplishment and recognition awards, and personalized speeches by the graduates.
