home of the jaguars

Welcome to the San Jose City College athletics website, the official home of Jaguar Athletics.  We appreciate the parents, fans, and campus community that support the staff and students involved in Jaguar athletics.

SJCC has nine inter-collegiate athletic teams:

  • Men and Women’s Cross Country
  • Men and Women’s Basketball
  • Football
  • Golf
  • Men and Women’s Track and Field
  • Softball
  • Volleyball

All of our teams are members of the Coast Conference except for Football which is a member of the Northern California Football Association, and Golf which is in the Central Valley Conference.

Our experienced coaching staff has an average 13 years of coaching experience. They are committed to the physical development of the student-athletes and their academic and emotional growth. We pride ourselves on a storied and successful tradition that includes professionals and Olympians. Our traditions and success date back to the days the college first opened its doors in 1921.

We encourage you to visit often and stay up to date on Jaguar sports teams and individuals.

If you have any sports specific questions please feel free to contact the respective coaches who will direct you in the best possible way.

Respectfully Yours in Sports,

Lamel D. Harris

Dean / Director of Kinesiology and Athletics
