The Learning Resource Center (LRC), located on the first floor of the Cesar E. Chavez Library & open to all registered San Jose City College students, is equipped with computer workstations, printers, and software to serve your academic needs. All computers have internet access so students can log into Canvas, email, and MyWeb. Friendly staff members, including peer tutors who specialize in computer applications, are also available to answer questions at the information desk, located in the open computer lab.
The LRC is also home to SJCC's tutoring centers, where students can receive one-on-one assistance from trained peer tutors and campus instructors in a variety of subjects, including math, the sciences, writing, and computer applications (Canvas, Word, Excel) either by dropping in or scheduling an appointment.
For more information on peer tutoring, visit our tutoring area pages:

All currently enrolled SJCC students may use the resources and assistance available in the LRC throughout the semester; no referrals or fees are required.
The Open Computer Lab uses the GOPRINT system. Money can be added to an SJCC Student ID Card using the 'Add Value' machine located on the first and second floor of the Library/LRC Building. Printing is 10 cents per page. To get your Student ID card, visit the information counter at the Student Center.
