The Tutoring Center, part of SJCC's
Learning Resource Center, offers a supportive environment where students are welcome throughout the semester to study independently or receive one-on-one assistance in a variety of subject areas, including Math, Physics, Chemistry, Technology, Foreign Languages, History, and more.
Drop-in assistance from trained peer tutors and instructors
Scheduled appointments for peer tutoring
Access to textbooks in a range of subjects as well as student solution manuals
Computers with internet access for school work (Canvas, MS Word, Excel, etc.)
Students must be enrolled in at least one academic class at SJCC and register for LS 210 (Learning Skills Supervised Tutoring, a no cost, no unit course) in order to use the Tutoring Center and its resources. Students can visit
MyWeb or visit the Learning Resource Center to enroll.
