How SJCC Staff Can Complete Safe Zone Training

To complete Safe Zone training please complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the course information page http://www.kognito.com/ccc
  2. Click on “Create an account.”
  3. Fill in information- choose any password
  4. Choose your POV as to your job then choose Next Step
  5. Pull down the menu and choose “San Jose City College.”
  6. When you get to the “What is your age,” it will look as though you are done and you will wonder how to continue- look at the scroll bar on the right and slide it down and there will be more questions.
  7. Then it will say “Creating an account.” This is very very important- make sure to choose LGBT on Campus because you need to get into that module. You will see it at the bottom. If you do that wrong then it is very hard to get back to the LGBT on Campus.
  8. Click "Launch"
  9. There are a bunch of questions – you can either chose SJCC and answer them or skip those and chose “done”
  10. Then you are in
  11. You will receive a certificate at the end
  12. Those wishing a placard that work at SJCC, please alert me
