San Jose City College Boys Basketball Camps proudly enters its 23rd year as one of the premier basketball camps in the South Bay.  Our goal is to give each camper as much time and attention on the court as they can handle, while at the same time helping each individual develop skills and knowledge to become a worthy team member, family member, and worthwhile citizen.

San Jose City College Boys Basketball Camps emphasize the importance of building a solid foundation of fundamental skills from which basketball excellence can be further developed.  The outstanding Men’s Basketball staff at SJCC excels in teaching campers the fundamentals of basketball in a positive and enthusiastic environment.  Each day the staff utilizes a progression of drills, games, and fun competitions designed to provide maximum opportunity for individual skill development and to generally increase campers’ basketball knowledge and confidence.

The 23rd annual Basketball Camp is sponsored by the Basketball Office and directed by Percy Carr - head basketball coach.  Camp will provide a wholesome atmosphere in which each youngster receives expert instruction in basketball activity as well as individual character development.  Camp is carefully designed to inspire self-confidence through achievement.  Camp will motivate youngsters to improve their talent and abilities.  Areas covered include:

* Dribbling Moves
* Shooting Clinics
* Team Games
* Footwork
* 5 vs. 5, 3 vs.3 & 1vs.1 Competition
* Passing & Receiving
* Rebounding
* Team Offense/Defense
