| Game Notes: SJCC won the Consolation Championship. The intense defense proved to be too much for Merced College. Balanced scoring from Sharron Andrews (Hayward) 19, Lauren Adamek (Hollister) 11, Mercedes Pardo (Pioneer)10 and Torey Walker (Vly Christian) 10. In the second half, Merced cut the lead to 6 and Andrea Thom (Vly Christian) came off the bench and hit a clutch "3", finishing with 8 points. A solid team victory! |

| Game Notes: Jags kicked off the season against a top contender in Northern California. Lauren Adamek (Hollister)led the Jags with 15 points, while Torey Walker (Vly Christian), Sharron Andrews (Hayward)contributed with 13 and 12 points respectively. Turnovers and poor freethrow shooting led to the defeat. The Jags trailed 41-32 at halftime and outscored Delta in the second half, but it wasn't enough. |
