Counseling Services

Counselors help students assess their own talents and interests and to relate them to educational programs and career alternatives. They help to overcome life's stresses and to formulate a plan consistent with their values and goals. Counselors are knowledgeable in all majors, serve as liaisons with academic departments, and provide information about careers, university requirements, district policies and any needs concerning a student's education.

Special Programs

SJCC offers eight special programs to help students in a variety of ways. The programs are: Americorps, Recruitment,Disabled Students Program EOPS & CARE, Honors , Jopplacement, Middle College and Win Program

Tutoring Programs

Free tutoring services for SJCC students. Students can either request drop-in or one-to-one tutoring in the course that they are currently registered.

Student life

Many opportunities are created in the college to enrich the student life. For example Associated Students, Clubs, KJCC Radio are some from the list. Please check in the office of Students Services for more information.
