The SJCC Campus

Strong voter support for Measure G in the November election has given the District both the go-ahead and the financial assets that will allow the a-dopted new campus plan to be com-pleted during the coming years. A combination of funding from the 1998 Measure I bond issue, state support and district money has allowed the campus to plan and complete an impressive list of projects over the past six years:

• Resurfacing the track and football field
• Parking garage
• Central Utilities Plant
• Library/LRC
• Technology Center
• Student Center
• Remodel of the Business Building
• Major infrastructure improvements

The above projects represent approximately 50% of the planned campus overhaul. Yet to come are:

• Applied Science complex
• Baseball and softball fields
• Fine Arts complex
• General classroom building
• PE complex
• Remodel old College Union
• Complete infrastructure im-provements
• Completion of campus land-scaping plan
