The program supports and coordinates the development and maintenance of an institutional strategic planning and program review process to meet compliance with state, federal, district and college requirements; ensures the accuracy of accrediting commission, state and federal reports on student outcomes to ensure continued and enhanced funding; organizes and supports accreditation activities.

It conducts a variety of research activities to support the college's mission, strategic planning, and initiatives and respond to research and data requests from the campus community.

Educational Master Plan

This is an unparalleled moment in San José City College’s history, celebrating 100 years of transforming student lives during a global pandemic.

With cautious optimism, we moved forward with the development of SJCC’s first 10-year Educational Master Plan, An Equity and Social Justice Framework. During the process, we enjoyed robust discussions, feedback, and input.

The process we used was designed to be collaborative, inclusive, and transparent, and this is evident in the inclusion of all of our constituency groups.

Our process was also data-driven, relying on internal and external scans and quantitative and qualitative data. The process also centered on the voices of our students and community partners and their ideas that help provide direction for SJCC’s future.
