 Educational Master Plan

What is an Educational Master Plan?

The Educational Master Plan (EMP) will provide vision, direction, and a defined achievable future for San Jose City College for the next 10 years by establishing specific goals and strategies for academic and career education programs, and student services. The EMP is a core component of integrated planning for the college and acts as the main plan for aligning the college's annual and operational plans, programs, grants, and initiatives to its mission, vision, and values.

 five Institutional Goals

The following overarching goals were established in consideration of the College's Mission, Vision and Values, Student Equity Framework, and SJCC's Strategic Plan 2019-2024. The EMP Steering Committee conducted a detailed review and analysis of a wide range of college and regional data was conducted, including quantitative and qualitative data.
