SJCC is your College, and the Student Senate, also known as the Associated Student Government (ASG), serves as your representative voice on matters impacting the entire student body at SJCC.
Elected students actively participate in campus and district committees, collaborating closely with staff, faculty, and administrators to contribute to College decisions.
The Student Senate (ASG) extends its advocacy to regional and statewide levels, addressing a spectrum of issues, from financial aid to academic policy. Moreover, the Student Senate (ASG) enhances the student experience by supporting student organizations and coordinating campus-wide activities, events, and programs.
