Sociology Club

The SJCC Sociology Club started in 2015 as a class project. Since then it has developed into an exciting part of people's lives!

While we explore the functions and issues within our society, our goal is to create and engage in activities that result in positive changes in our community. Our Microloans program has been a great success.

Through the application of sociology, we work to create a safe and fun place where students, faculty, and community members can gather to exchange ideas about the society around them.

This club is unique because members have the opportunity to gain experience working on real-life social issues such as poverty, equal opportunity, and even policy!

Join us! All are welcome.
