LinkedIn  & LinkedIn learning

Do You Have a LinkedIn Account?

If not, we strongly encourage you to create a free account and build your profile. Here are some resources to help you get started (or improve your profile):

What is LinkedIn Learning?

All faculty, staff and students have access to the entire training library availble through LinkedIn Learning. That's access to over 15,000 courses and videos on a variety of topics, from lessons on how to use the latest software, to creative and business skills, to getting yourself job-ready. We have resources to help you get started! NOTE: You must have your SJCC email to login to this FREE service.

Find content

Search: The search bar at the top of the screen allows you to search by keyword, subject, author, title and more.

Browse: Click on the "Library" link at the top of the screen to browse by topic.

Playlists: Create and share playlists or find curated playlists compiled by experts.

Get the most out of LinkedIn Learning

Watch bite-size tutorials for immediate problem-solving, or take comprehensive courses from start to finish -- at school, at home, or on the go.

  • Set aside time every week for online training
  • Watch the welcome video of a course to check out its training content
  • Use bookmarks to indicate favorite videos or courses
  • Create and share course playlists
  • Download exercise files and practice applying knowledge as you go

Certificates of Completion
When you finish a course, you can receive a certificate of completion. Print, email, or share the certificate on your LinkedIn profile.

Instructors and Administrators
Create and share course playlists, and make them available in your Blackboard course or however you share information with your students or employees.

Learn on the go

The free apps for iOS, Android and Kindle allow you to download courses to watch whenever you want. Watch courses on your mobile device while connected to the internet, or download as many courses as you like to multiple devices to watch offline.
