San Jose Promise and Summer Bridge

The San Jose Promise Program and Summer Bridge support incoming students making the transition from high school to San Jose City College. Summer Bridge provides an opportunity for students to begin the first year of college by completing a college-level course during summer while learning to navigate college life. Students continue their experience through the San Jose Promise with a team of counselors, instructors, and peers to guide them beyond the first year of college, through transfer, and graduation. Upon completion of the first year, students will know how to meet the expectations of the quality and quantity of work required to successfully complete college.
