​​​​The Future Skills & Employment Services Center provides a wide range of services to San José City College students and alumni to assist with securing employment.

What We Offer:   

  • One-on-one appointments to meet with students to support a variety of employment needs
  • LinkedIn & LinkedIn Learning support

  • Computers / Internet access for job search
  • Resume development workshops
  • Interview preparation workshops
  • Online student job board
  • Online resume builder tool
  • Weekly local employer recruitment on campus
  • Campus-wide Job Fair (once during the fall semester, once during the spring semester)

Student Job Board

San José City College is proud to offer Students & Alumni an online Student Job Board powered by College Central Network. This service will allow students to search for local employment, internships, and volunteer positions from employers interested in hiring SJCC students and alumni. Additionally, students can access Career Readiness tools such as the online Resume Builder, a Career Portfolio tool, Career Advice articles and blogs to assist you in your professional development.

  • Create an Employer Profile and Post Positions via our online Student Job Board
  • Participate in our Weekly Tabling Series: "Jobs For Jags"
  • Participate in our Campus-wide Job Fairs
  • Join us for our CTE Employer Seminars

  • Bring us copies of your marketing materials and we will ensure they are approved and posted throughout our campus

Hours of Operation

Mondays - Fridays 
8 AM - 5 PM

No appointment required. However, hours are subject to change. We encourage you to make an appointment or learn more about the availability/scheduling.
