Administrative Services Building 

Welcome to the Administrative Services Homepage! The San Jose City College Administrative Services Division is under the leadership of the Vice President of Administrative Services, located in the Business Building on campus. We are here to assist you with information and questions about finance, student accounts, marketing and outreach, and business related issues. This division is responsible for:

Below is a list of the departments under the Administrative Services Division.


Business Services

The Business Services Department is responsible for accounting functions that take place on campus. Business Services assists with student accounts, facility rentals, vehicle reservations, petty cash, contract management, college fiscal planning and budgeting, coordinating grant management, scholarships, and collecting outstanding debt from students. We also support students with graphing calculator rentals, book loans, and other activities approved by the Associated Student Government.

Business Services is located in the Business Building, Room 101 and operates Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Campus Technology Support and Services (CTSS) 

Campus Technology Support and Services (CTSS) supports students, staff, and faculty at San Jose City College. CTSS can assist you with software and equipment requests, repair or work requests, video conference requests, and assistance with your webpage. The CTSS Department uses a work order system to address the technical needs of the college.

CTSS is located in GE 106 and operates Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 7:00pm and Fridays, 8:00am to 5:00pm.


Facilities and Grounds

The Custodial Department maintains the nearly 500,000 square feet of space on campus to provide for a clean and healthy environment that we enjoy on a daily basis. The staff members in both of these departments make walking across the campus a joy no matter what time of year it is. The Grounds Department is responsible for the immaculate grounds that we enjoy here at SJCC. Planting new flowers, keeping trees and bushes trimmed, making repairs as needed and overall upkeep of the outdoor areas of the campus is their mission every day.

Although Maintenance requests are a district function, the Maintenance Department works closely with both campuses. The Maintenance Department services all district facilities. The staff are assigned by trades to include all services required for Electrical, HVAC, Painting, Carpenter, Locksmith, Vehicle Mechanic and Maintenance Workers and other minor facility repairs.  The district also has an online work order system that allows end-users to place works orders into the system that is tracked and managed by the maintenance department.
