The LRC is one of the largest and most accessible computer labs on campus, offering students more than 100 open-access workstations, three computer labs, and a number of ADA compliant configurations. All workstations are Internet-connected and feature Microsoft Office applications. Selected workstations run specialized software, such as the Adobe Creative Suite. All computers in the LRC are connected to a for-pay printing system. Two printer/copiers are located conveniently in the LRC.
The LRC provides computing, software, and printing / copying support through its Information Desk, where staff and peer tutors are on hand to answer questions.
There are three labs located in the LRC:
The LRC Lab (L-113) is a space that faculty or staff may reserve for classes, trainings, or other special events. The Lab features 30 student workstations and an instructor's workstation with overhead projection capabilities. When the Lab is not in use, it is open for impromptu use by individuals, small-groups, or classes.
The ESL Lab (L-120) is a space that faculty who teach English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) courses may reserve for classes, trainings, or other special events. The Lab features 34 student workstations and an instructor's workstation with overhead projection capabilities. When the Lab is not in use, it is open for use by ESL students and faculty.
The SAS Lab (L-119) is operated by Student Accessibility Services. The Lab offers specialized software and adaptive technology. For more information about the Lab, visit the SAS webpage.
